Decentralized AI distributes the ownership, infrastructure, and economics of artificial intelligence across a network instead of a single company. In Perspective's design, independent node operators serve open-source models, every inference is verified and scored, and the value users create flows back to them through the $POV token rather than accruing only to a platform owner.
AI sovereignty means you control your own AI: your data, your model choice, your memory, and a stake in the infrastructure that runs it. Centralized AI platforms decide what your AI can say and train on what you tell it. Perspective builds AI sovereignty in: private memory owned by you, uncensored access to 60 models, and a network whose economics belong to its users.
$POV is the single token of the Perspective network, built on Base. It is designed as a work token, not a payment token: node operators, validators, and agents stake $POV to serve the network and are slashed for failures, while protocol revenue buys $POV on the open market and distributes it to stakers from day one of the token. There are no child tokens and no launchpad.
A payment token is spent to buy a service, so most holders have no reason to keep it. A work token must be staked to earn the right to do paid work on the network, so it captures the network's operating cash flow. $POV follows the work-token model: stake to serve, get slashed on failure, and earn from verified work and protocol revenue.
